Hello all, this is the last match report before the Christmas break. Thanks to everyone who got all the cards in this week. A full house thanks again. This week we start in the 501 league at the Neville who hosted the lads from Conway. On first for the home team we have Dan Roberts up against an inform Bryn Hughes. Bryn continuing his good form with a 180 and 16 dart leg in a 0-2 away win. Carlos on next and going down in the decider against dil 1-2. Jay Acky in next and getting a point on the board with a 2-0 win over mike Roberts. Captain Mike Castro on at 4 and going down to a steady Steve wilmore 1-2. Glenn Fisher getting a 2-0 win over captain Neil Hughes. Dave Chapman on next and going down 0-2 to Dan Wilson. With Conway being one short Peter Jones had no game After the doubles 1-2 to the comrades and a 4-6 away win. Over to penrhynside now as the old hall took on the RAOB A Paul Roche on first against Carl with Carl getting a 0-2 win. Wayne Roberts on next and getting a 2-1 win over Peter Hibbert. Corrie in at 3 and going down to a back in form Gary black but Gary didn’t have it all his own way with a 1-2 win including a 180. Guy marsh on at 4 and losing 0-2 to swin. Wyn Slater on next against Richie protheroe and this week not on first,,but still showing great form with a 0-2 win and a 15 dart leg. Gary Stafford on next against mal Mullin and despite a 180 from Gary it was mal who took the win 0-2. Old hall 1 player short so Andy hall ( williams) a 0-2 win. With the RAOB winning 1-2 in the doubles for a 2-8 away win. Some good darts in this match. A trip up the a55 now to pen golf A Who took on league leaders the maelgwyn A. Mr Benjamin on first and going down 0-2 to Joey Cruz, a steady iwan Williams getting a 2-0 win over Phil Smith, Ian Jones in at 3 and going down 0-2 to syd. Neil coulson on at 4 and losing in the decider 1-2 to Pete Lewis. With Rob Miller going down to the same score 1-2 against Pete Mutch. Keith Williams also losing by the odd leg against Jim. G Williams going down at the last against Eddie Davies 0-2. The golf lads getting 2 of the doubles but the maelgwyn continue their title charge by winning 3-7 on the night. Last card and it’s the RAOB B against an under strength penrhyn arms. Danny Owen on first against the warhorse that is Sam Bradley and Sam getting a 1-2 away win. Mitch in at 2 and winning 2-0 against gaz howatson. Tony anderton in at 3 and also getting a 2-0 win over John Griffiths. Dave Nolan up against Chris Yates and no doubt a quiet game as usual with Chris, with Chris winning 0-2. JJ getting a win 2-0 over mark Williams. With the arms being 2 short it was wins 2-0 for Mike williams and Paul Chung. With the B winning 2-1 in the doubles for a 7-3 home win. Moving on to the RTB league we go over the water to Conway who took on league leaders the Labour club. On first was Lee Jones who went down in the decider against Terry Quinn 1-2, Steve eardley getting a win for the home team 2-1. Gary Roberts and Paul Eastwood both going down 1-2 to Jamie and Kevin Quinn,, another clean sweep for the mighty Quinn’s. Bertie on next and winning 2-0 over Richie Hughes. Nigel eardley on last and going down 0-2 against Nigel Jones. With the doubles won 2-1 by Conway it was the Labour club lads with a 4-5 away win, who go into the Christmas break unbeaten. A great effort. Back into town and to the kings arms who where without talisman Mike williams as he was on holiday. Chris Lynton on first and winning 2-1 over Paul Bourne. Mike Thomas on next and losing 0-2 to Wayne Taylor. With Ian Adamson, Rob Thorpe, Dave roberts and Brian beacher all getting 2-0 wind over Shaun bramble, Steve meek, Chris Webb playing twice respectively. The kings also won all 3 doubles for a huge 8-1 win. Back up the a55 to the pen y Bryn B who hosted llandudno athletic 1st game saw cain Jones go down 0-2 to oggy Williams, Kyle Jones on next and getting a 2-0 home win over ste palin. Dave Williams in at 3 and losing out 0-2 against ste Williams. Carl Roberts on at 4 and winning 2-1 against Danny, but Iain and Mike getting vital away wins 1-2 against eifion and Sarah Jones respectively. Looks a big comeback from the pen y Bryn B who took all 3 doubles for a narrow 5-4 win. No last game as the cross keys penrhynside didn’t have enough players to go to cross keys llandudno with a walk over win for the home team. Tuesday 18th is the Christmas individuals being held at the Neville, it would be great to see everyone there and give it a party atmosphere before Christmas.
